Oh yeah. The wasabi is friggin hotHoly. Its been forever. If you're reading this, you probably know me, so there's not much updating needed right? Well, lets see ..
School's still grand. Still enjoying spoils of the lectures (sleep is always good), tuesdays are always rockers, thursday late night's gaming, yatta yatta yatta. Its the product of my extra well-thought out choice of poly that I like to think started out with a big wig falling head over heels at the sight of my debating(arguing?) prowess, which of course resulted in a domino effect of position changes in the school, water cooler rumors, lucrative deals, and of course, an increase in my (very well deserved) popularity.
My cca isnt finalized yet, but you're not reading this because you care about that right? I swear, worthwhile news will be coming up. Picked three for a thought, and they're so awesome i wouldn't mind joining all three of them's.
Them's?
I hate the English language. I question so many things in everyday speech, and yet poetry and metaphors grab me like the smell of popcorn. Irresistible.
I still hate the language, though. Let's hope Japanese is better. Oh, that's right, I'm gonna give learning it a shot. Hongze tried teaching it to me in secondary school, I remember. Broken record, I know, but this time I really feel like it could happen. My recent trip to mysoju.com and takopachi stores encouraged me more than ever.
Hmm... do you have Facebook? Im on it more than I have ever been on Friendster. Add me if you have one. I find Friendster too boring - there's much less to do. But it's alot better for colourful homepages though, not that I have a need for them ...
And god, my music tastes are all over the place lately. Right now I'm under the spell of Utada Hikaru and other J-Pop artists. This helps my Japanese anyway. Before, it was all about Brit-pop/rock and indie bands. Now I'm going completely mainstream... but in different countries.
Different countries. You need to leave the country, soon. Don't you believe travel broadens the mind? You get to experience other ways of living, other ways of life... It just enriches you as a human being.
What's the point of this whole spiel?
No point. Totally and completely pointless. I guess it's a time-waster. And that's what Friendster is. And my blog. And even Facebook. Time suckers, with no actual benefit. Well, arguably.
Whoa, I brought the mood down, didn't I? I guess that's the point of it all. No matter what happens, you'll see another up, as well as another down. Life is just a series of peaks and troughs. And you don't know whether you're in a trough until you're climbing out, or on a peak until you're coming down. And that's it, you know. You never know what's round the corner. But it's all good.
If I brought you down, you have my sincerest apologies. If you brought me down, I'm fine over it. Life goes on.
Who knows if I'll ever update this again... hell yeah I will! But if there's one thing you take away from the many philosophical posts I've published since way back, I hope it's nothing about me. I hope you can Go Green. Yes, Go Green. Mother Earth is darn sexy. And we should all do our part to keep her that way. If you do, good on you. And on that immature note-
